Lee Yi-kyung Departs 'How Do You Play?' After 3 Years; Eyes International Projects

Actor Lee Yi-kyung is set to bid farewell to the popular MBC variety show ‘How Do You Play?’ after a three-year run.

According to sources close to the actor, Lee Yi-kyung has recently finalized his decision to leave the program. He joined the show in September 2022 and has consistently delivered laughter to viewers with his versatile talents and witty remarks.

Despite concurrently filming the movie ‘Rebound’ (also known as ‘The Boys’), Lee Yi-kyung diligently participated in the show’s recordings. However, with casting offers for the Vietnamese film ‘I Am Here’ and the Japanese TBS Friday drama ‘Dream Stage,’ he has decided to step down to focus on these new international ventures.

Fans can still catch Lee Yi-kyung on other variety programs he currently stars in, including SBS Plus’s ‘I Am Solo,’ TVING’s ‘The Brave Detectives,’ and KBS2’s ‘The Return of Superman,’ as he continues his active broadcasting career.

‘How Do You Play?’ airs every Saturday at 6:30 PM KST.
