Actress Ha Jae-sook Reveals 100% Satisfaction with Seaside Life in Goseong, Explores Yeosu's Islands on 'Homeward House'
Actress Ha Jae-sook and creator Kim Ddolddol are set to embark on a house-hunting mission in Yeosu, South Jeolla Province, on MBC's 'Homeward House' airing this Thursday.
On the episode airing on the 6th (Thursday), team leader Kim Sook, along with Ha Jae-sook and Kim Ddolddol, will venture to Yeosu for a unique regional property tour.
Before the official tour, Ha Jae-sook revealed in the studio that she has been living in Goseong, Gangwon Province, for the past 10 years. Responding to a question about Goseong's charm, she shared, "I've fallen for the friendliness of the Goseong locals, and I love the heartwarming fishing village life where sharing is a daily routine," rating her satisfaction with life in Goseong at 100%.
She also mentioned that thanks to her husband, who holds a 해남 (haenam, seafood) license, she gets to enjoy various seafood dishes. Ha Jae-sook highlighted the sea urchins famous in the Goseong waters and teased a special tip for enjoying octopuses, humorously stating, "Goseong captains don't eat the tentacles of octopuses."
Creator Kim Ddolddol, who appeared alongside her, introduced himself with high energy as 'Korea's top entertainer creator Kim Ddolddol,' significantly raising the studio's excitement. Regarding his stage name, Kim Ddolddol explained, "It means my head is smart (똘똘하다 - ttolddolhada means smart/clever)," adding, "Contrary to my appearance, I have a long academic background, having graduated from Gwacheon Foreign Language High School and Sungkyunkwan University's Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering." Yang Se-hyung reportedly challenged Kim Ddolddol to a conversation in English to verify his language skills, sparking curiosity.
Kim Sook, Ha Jae-sook, and Kim Ddolddol headed to the Yeoja Bay in Yeosu to scout three islands: Nangdo, Sado, and Chudo. Kim Sook remarked, "Yeosu has 365 islands, so you can travel to a different island every day."
They drove spiritedly in a convertible across the Dunbyeongdaegyo and Nangdo bridges towards Nangdo. Kim Sook noted, "Before the Nangdo Bridge opened in 2020, it took 2 hours by ferry to reach Yeosu Port. Now, it only takes 40 minutes from Nangdo to Yeosu Airport."
Upon arriving at Nangdo, the trio repeatedly expressed admiration for the small, beautiful coastal scenery, heightening anticipation for the broadcast.
The Yeosu episode, featuring a special sea-route property tour, will be revealed on MBC's 'Homeward House' this Thursday at 10 PM.
Netizens commented on the preview, saying things like, "Ha Jae-sook's Goseong life looks so great!", "Kim Ddolddol's specs are no joke. Curious about his English skills", and "Island hopping in Yeosu, I'm already excited!".
