Kwon Jin-ah Embarks on 'Music Life's Second Act' on 'Radio Star,' Jokingly Proposes JYP Acquisition
Singer-songwriter Kwon Jin-ah is set to appear on MBC's 'Radio Star,' sharing candid stories about the beginning of her 'music life's second act' after establishing her own agency, 10 years after leaving Antenna.
The upcoming episode, airing on Wednesday, will feature a special segment titled 'JYPick 읏 짜!' with guests Park Jin-young, Ahn So-hee, Boom, and Kwon Jin-ah.
Kwon Jin-ah, who debuted after gaining recognition on SBS's 'K-Pop Star Season 3' in 2014, spent a decade with Antenna, releasing hit songs like 'The End' and 'Something Wrong.' She recently declared her musical independence by founding her own agency.
"I seriously contemplated my music career. I needed a turning point," Kwon Jin-ah will share, explaining her decision to leave Antenna. Kwon Jin-ah is set to release her new single and title track 'Happy Hour (퇴근길)' at 6 PM today, coinciding with the broadcast, and will perform it live on 'Radio Star.' Park Jin-young hyped the performance, urging viewers, "You'll see Kwon Jin-ah dance at the end today. Don't change the channel."
