The final film of the late actor Song Jae-rim, 'The Road Not Taken' (working title), is set to be released on December 3rd.
The film, which received an award for cinematography at the Chungmuro Short Film and Independent Film Festival last year, holds significant meaning as it will be the last time audiences see Song Jae-rim on screen. He passed away unexpectedly in November of last year.
In 'The Road Not Taken,' Song Jae-rim took on the challenging role of portraying two characters, Dong-seok and Dong-soo, who visit Jun-ho's (played by Park Ho-san) bar in search of a lover. This dual performance showcased his dedication to his craft.
Reflecting on his passing, co-star Park Ho-san expressed his grief, stating, “You were so bright. I can’t believe it. I’m sorry I couldn’t contact you or take care of you (beforehand).” Song Jae-rim was found deceased at his home in November 2022.
