Rising Stars AHOF Showcase Second Mini-Album 'The Passage', Perform Title Track 'Pinocchio Hates Lies'
Boy group AHOF, hailed as 'monster rookies,' successfully held a showcase for their second mini-album, 'The Passage.'
The event took place on the afternoon of the 4th at the Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. AHOF members Steven, Seo Jung-woo, Cha Woong-gi, Zhang Shuai-bo, Park Han, JL, Park Ju-won, and Daisuke presented their new songs, including the title track 'Pinocchio Hates Lies,' proving their growth just four months after their debut.
'The Passage' marks AHOF's first release in approximately four months since their debut album 'WHO WE ARE' in July. Inspired by the fairy tale 'Pinocchio,' the album chronicles the journey of growing from boyhood to adulthood, telling the story of AHOF's solidification amidst confusion and wandering.
The title track, 'Pinocchio Hates Lies,' is based on band sound and was officially released on various music platforms at 6 PM on the same day.
AHOF has lived up to their 'monster rookie' title since their debut. They set a record for the highest first-week sales for a 2025 rookie boy group with 360,985 copies and achieved triple crown wins on music shows within 10 days of their debut. They have continued their rapid ascent by winning the Super Rookie Award at the '2025 K-WORLD DREAM AWARDS' and the Hottest Award at 'The Fact Music Awards.'
Korean netizens expressed excitement, commenting, "AHOF's comeback is highly anticipated!" and "The title 'Pinocchio Hates Lies' is so unique." Many also acknowledged their achievements, stating, "Triple crown wins already, truly the class of a monster rookie."
