Jinyoung Promises Musical Return, Citing Delay: 'Please Wait Until Early Next Year'

Actor Jinyoung has openly discussed his plans for a musical comeback. In a recent interview following the conclusion of the Genie TV original drama ‘A Good Woman, Bu-semi,’ Jinyoung, who debuted with the group B1A4 and is now actively pursuing acting, shared his thoughts.

When asked about the secret to his long and scandal-free career, he attributed it to his cautious nature, stating, "It's probably due to my cautious personality." He expressed gratitude for his smooth career path so far.

Jinyoung, who has consistently written his own music since his group days, apologized for not yet fulfilling his promise to fans to release new songs. "I feel sorry for not being able to keep my promise because I've been busy with acting," he said, adding, "I kindly ask for a little more patience until early next year to keep my promise to the fans."

He explained that his delay stems from a desire to perfect his musical output. "I want to present truly good music when I have more time and flexibility," he stated. Jinyoung also touched upon his MBTI personality type (P), which makes it difficult for him to multitask effectively, expressing regret but reiterating his deep love for music. "Because I love music so much, my music will definitely continue to be released," he assured, promising a return as a singer.

The drama ‘A Good Woman, Bu-semi,’ starring Jinyoung, concluded its 12-episode run on the 4th.
