Singer Sung Si-kyung has been deeply shaken after experiencing financial betrayal from his manager of over 10 years.

His agency, SK Jaewon, confirmed that the former manager engaged in acts that breached the company's trust during their employment. The agency is currently assessing the extent of the financial damage caused by the now-departed manager.

This individual was a key figure, managing all aspects of Sung Si-kyung's career, including broadcasts, concerts, advertisements, and events, and was widely regarded as Sung Si-kyung's right-hand man.

Their relationship was reportedly so close that Sung Si-kyung even fully funded the manager's wedding expenses. Expressing his pain on social media, Sung Si-kyung wrote, "I was betrayed by someone I trusted like family. I tried to maintain my daily life pretending to be okay, but my body, mind, and voice have all been greatly hurt."

As a result, Sung Si-kyung has decided to take a break from his YouTube channel 'Meokul Tende,' posting a brief message to fans: "I'll be taking this week off. I'm sorry."

Concerns have also arisen about the feasibility of his year-end concert, with some questioning if it will proceed. Sung Si-kyung himself had previously expressed his contemplation on whether he should perform under the current circumstances.
