Korean visual rock pioneers EVE are celebrating their 30th anniversary by gracing a music show stage for the first time in two decades.

The band, EVE, made their highly anticipated comeback on MBC's 'Show! Music Core' on the 18th of last month, performing their new song 'Joker’s Party'. The performance video garnered explosive attention, exceeding 250,000 views in just five days.

Viewers flooded the comments section with reactions like, "I thought it was IVE, but it's EVE!" and "They look the same after over 20 years," marveling at their unchanged visuals and stage presence. The band even earned the nickname 'Frozen Humans' for their flawless live vocals and performance despite the long hiatus.

Their latest single, 'Joker’s Party', released on the 17th of last month, marks their first new music in approximately five years, following 'Drunk on Sleep' and 'Robot's Love' in December 2020.

With this new release, EVE has announced an ambitious '10th Album Project'. "We plan to hold solo concerts every 2-3 months, releasing new songs at each performance, and aim to release our 10th full-length album in the winter of 2026," the band shared, raising expectations for their future endeavors.

Since their debut in 1998, EVE has been beloved for their groundbreaking visual rock concept and high-quality stage productions. They reunited with their original members in 2017 after 16 years and released their 9th album, 'Romantic Show'. While they successfully staged large-scale concerts, their activities were temporarily halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The comeback single 'Joker’s Party' and its accompanying concert marked a successful restart, with tickets for both the main show and encore selling out in just 30 seconds of going on sale.

EVE is set to release another new song in late November and will meet fans at their second concert on December 6th at Hongdae Westbridge.

Netizens expressed excitement, commenting 'Their visuals are unchanged from 20 years ago!', 'The legends of Korean rock are back!', and 'Thank you for coming to music shows again.'
