Han Hye-jin Recalls Marrying Ki Sung-yueng at 25, Praises His Maturity

Actress Han Hye-jin has revealed an anecdote from her marriage to footballer Ki Sung-yueng, admitting she was captivated by his maturity even at a young age.

Appearing on the YouTube channel ‘Narae’s Table’ on the 5th, Han Hye-jin discussed marriage and relationships with fellow actresses Kim Hee-sun and Jin Seo-yeon.

During the conversation, Han Hye-jin surprised the cast by mentioning that her husband, Ki Sung-yueng, got married at the young age of 25. "My husband actually got married when he was 25," she stated, prompting a shocked reaction from Kim Hee-sun, who exclaimed, "You were bad!" Han Hye-jin lightened the mood by joking, "I feel so sorry now thinking about it."

She then reflected on Ki Sung-yueng's demeanor at the time, saying, "Perhaps because he started his career early, he was very well-behaved, mature in his mindset, and very professional in his work."

Han Hye-jin elaborated on her decision to marry him, explaining, "Seeing him like that, I felt that even though he was young, he was a reliable person with whom I could build a family and live my life." She added that they dated for about six months before marrying quickly, noting that all three actresses on the show had married at a rapid pace.

Han Hye-jin, who is 8 years younger than Ki Sung-yueng, married the footballer in July 2013 and they have a daughter named Si-on.
