Fantagio, the agency of ASTRO member Cha Eun-woo, has issued an official apology following an incident where some fans encountered issues with an ARS (Automated Response System) promotion for his new album, 'ELSE'.

Cha Eun-woo, who is currently serving his mandatory military service in the Army Military Band, has been actively engaging with fans through pre-recorded content despite his enlistment.

The ARS VOICE #1 content, designed to allow fans to hear pre-recorded messages from Cha Eun-woo by calling a specific number (070-8919-0330), has garnered significant attention. The messages include affectionate greetings like, "Hello? It's Eun-woo. Have you been well? Have you heard my news? I prepared everything in advance. How's my album? Are you excited? I'm waiting too. I'll call again next week, so eat well and think of me often. I miss you."

However, Fantagio addressed the issue, stating, "Recently, some users have mistakenly dialed the number, resulting in calls being connected elsewhere. We kindly request that you use the correct number when accessing the content."

The agency added, "We sincerely apologize to those who have been inconvenienced by this. We express our apologies for any unintentional harm caused."

While Cha Eun-woo's unique fan engagement during his service has been praised, the agency is reiterating the importance of using the accurate number to prevent further confusion.

Fans have expressed understanding and support for Cha Eun-woo's continued efforts to connect with them even while serving in the military. Many comments reassured the agency, stating, "It's okay," and "There won't be any problems."
