Actress Lee Si-young has recently welcomed her second child, a baby girl. Her agency, Ace Factory, officially announced on the evening of the 5th, stating, "Actress Lee Si-young recently gave birth to a daughter. Both mother and child are currently resting and stable."

The agency further added, "Actress Lee Si-young, who has welcomed a new life, plans to continue her activities after sufficient recovery," sparking anticipation for her return to the entertainment scene.

Earlier that day, Lee Si-young herself shared the news of her second daughter's birth, affectionately nicknamed 'Sik-sik-i' (a term of endearment), via her personal social media. She garnered significant attention by posting photos from the hospital holding her newborn and snapshots from the postpartum care center.

Lee Si-young married a restaurant entrepreneur, nine years her senior, in 2017 and they had their first child, son Jeong-yun. However, the actress finalized her divorce proceedings with her ex-husband this past March, after eight years of marriage.

During this period, as the deadline for discarding embryos she had cryopreserved for a second pregnancy approached, Lee Si-young decided to proceed with implantation despite her ex-husband's lack of consent. She announced her second pregnancy in July, and her ex-husband, while not consenting, had stated he would fulfill his duties as the biological father.
