Netflix series 'The Price of Deceit' has confirmed its release date for December 5th (Friday) and unveiled its teaser poster and trailer.

Directed by Lee Jung-hyo, known for his captivating direction in 'Ilduna!', 'Crash Landing on You', and 'The Good Wife', this new project reunites Jeon Do-yeon and Kim Go-eun, who previously starred together in 'The Memoirs of a Murderer' a decade ago, building significant anticipation.

'The Price of Deceit' is a mystery thriller centered around the events unfolding between 'Ahn Yoon-soo' (Jeon Do-yeon), who is accused of murdering her husband, and 'Mo-eun' (Kim Go-eun), an enigmatic figure known as a 'witch'.

The released teaser poster immediately grabs attention, showing Ahn Yoon-soo and Mo-eun separated by a wall, both wearing identical prison uniforms, exuding a tense atmosphere. Yoon-soo's desperate expression as the prime suspect in her husband's murder, contrasted with Mo-eun's vacant gaze as the infamous 'witch' and culprit of a gruesome murder, sparks curiosity about their intertwined stories. The tagline, 'Suspicious Innocence, A Confession for a Price,' further heightens anticipation, posing questions about the deal they might strike and the ultimate cost of their confession.

The teaser trailer opens with Yoon-soo collapsing and calling emergency services after discovering her bloodied husband, immediately setting a suspenseful tone. Her seemingly calm demeanor in the wake of her husband's death, even in police interviews, amplifies suspicion, while her desperate cry of innocence before a crowd leaves viewers questioning the truth.

Meanwhile, Mo-eun, who observed Yoon-soo through a screen at the crime scene, approaches her in prison with an offer she can't refuse: Mo-eun will confess to the murder in Yoon-soo's place, in exchange for Yoon-soo doing something for her. In a situation where nothing can be trusted, Yoon-soo must accept the dangerous deal to leave prison. The presence of prosecutor 'Baek Dong-hoon' (Park Hae-soo), who is chasing the truth, and Yoon-soo's lawyer 'Jang Jeong-gu' (Jin Sun-kyu), further escalates the tension. Mo-eun's line, 'We're going to end up doing this crazy thing anyway,' makes the impending transaction, a confession to hide the truth, even more intriguing.

Promising explosive chemistry between Jeon Do-yeon and Kim Go-eun, and a thrilling mystery thriller about a dangerous deal made for a confession, 'The Price of Deceit' will be available worldwide on Netflix starting December 5th.

Netizens are expressing great excitement for the reunion of Jeon Do-yeon and Kim Go-eun after 10 years, commenting, 'I'm already looking forward to the acting battle between these two actresses,' 'The immersion is incredible just from the teaser,' and 'I wish December 5th would come faster.'
