K-pop powerhouse LE SSERAFIM is further cementing its position as a leading girl group with its unique musical color and confident charisma. The recently released single album 'SPAGHETTI' has garnered significant attention, praised for its innovative musicality and assertive message, reinforcing the idea that 'music unique to LE SSERAFIM' and 'LE SSERAFIM is the genre' itself.

Music critics have lauded the album, stating, "By merging cutting-edge sounds, unconventional concepts, and themes of overcoming adversity, LE SSERAFIM has crafted a 'musical menu' that is uniquely theirs within the K-pop scene. The group has evolved into a team that reinterprets and fully embodies musical genres with their distinctive style."

'SPAGHETTI' is achieving remarkable success in the global music market. The single debuted at number 50 on the US Billboard Main Singles Chart 'Hot 100', setting a new personal best for the group. This marks the third song from LE SSERAFIM to enter the 'Hot 100', following their third mini-album's title track 'EASY' (99th) and fourth mini-album's title track 'CRAZY' (76th). In just three years and six months since their debut, this achievement positions them as a global top-tier girl group, following in the footsteps of BLACKPINK and TWICE. Furthermore, the song secured the 46th position on the UK's Official Singles Chart Top 100, another personal record for the group.

The title track of the same name, 'SPAGHETTI (feat. j-hope of BTS)', is an alternative punk-pop genre track, brought to life by a collaboration of diverse domestic and international producers. Notable contributors include Argentinian producer Federico Vindver, known for his work with artists like Justin Timberlake, Kanye West, and Coldplay, and Gian Stone, who co-produced Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande's hit 'Stuck with U'.

Critics recognize this single as the culmination of LE SSERAFIM's consistent genre experimentation since their debut, solidifying their unique identity. Throughout their career, LE SSERAFIM has explored various music genres, including hip-hop, punk, Afrobeats, and Latin, consistently building a narrative centered around themes of 'passion' and 'inner growth'.

Music critic Hwang Sun-up analyzed, "The confidence and inner strength forged through past trials are vividly expressed throughout this album. Their attitude of humorously and confidently telling their own stories without being swayed by external opinions has firmly established itself as LE SSERAFIM's unique strength."

Jo Hye-rim, a music content planner, explained, "LE SSERAFIM's vocals are perfectly optimized for adjusting the emotional curve and energy density of 'SPAGHETTI.' 'SPAGHETTI' showcases LE SSERAFIM in the most sophisticated manner, highlighting their flair for expressing genres as if they are cooking."

The feature by BTS member j-hope has been praised for anchoring the song and expanding its expressive range. Critic Kim Sung-hwan noted, "It's not just a simple feature; it broadens the song's spectrum." Jo Hye-rim added, "j-hope's feature serves as a 'kick,' delivering a more direct message to the listener, almost like an interpretation of the song."

The B-side track, 'Pearlies (My oyster is the world)', is a disco-pop style song co-written by member Huh Yun-jin. The lyric, "Pearls weren't something to be had / More like wisdom accumulating within me," metaphorically expresses LE SSERAFIM's self-directed growth.

Critic Hwang Sun-up commented, "The lyrics expressing active growth, independent of others' perceptions, are impressive. I also sensed a redefinition of their relationship with their fandom, portraying them as proactive artists who protect their fans on equal footing."

LE SSERAFIM's signature sensibility also shines through in their performance and visuals. Intuitive choreography, synchronized with lyrics like "SPAGHETTI stuck between my teeth" and "SSERAFIM stuck in my head," is described as dopamine-inducing. Bold visual transformations, such as bleached eyebrows and orange hair, have also become a talking point. The music video's diverse visual effects and direction, including floating ingredients and a 2D animated background, have captured fans' attention.

Critic Kim Sung-hwan predicted, "The impact of scenes that break conventional imagination, dominated by the tomato colors of spaghetti sauce, is quite spicy. LE SSERAFIM's fresh choreography also emphasizes the song's addictiveness. The balance they strike, maintaining Western avant-garde elements while not losing universal appeal, will be a key point for their global expansion."

Critic Hwang Sun-up analyzed, "While previous works pursued a strong image through meticulously crafted music and performances, this single holds significance in showing that the same intensity can be approached in a more accessible and humorous way."

LE SSERAFIM successfully concluded their world tour '2025 LE SSERAFIM TOUR ‘EASY CRAZY HOT’’ which began in April, proving their status as the "ultimate girl group performers." All 13 shows across 11 cities in Asia and North America, including Saitama Super Arena in Japan, were sold out. They are set to hold an encore concert, ‘2025 LE SSERAFIM TOUR ‘EASY CRAZY HOT’ ENCORE IN TOKYO DOME’, at the Tokyo Dome in Japan on November 18-19. This first-ever Tokyo Dome performance, achieved through continuous growth, is expected to carry the momentum from the 'SPAGHETTI' single release into continued global success.

Jo Hye-rim emphasized, "The group's development into one that creates infectious choreography, visually expressed to be immediately imitable, is remarkable. Now, they can convey all their messages through a single performance without needing detailed explanations of their concepts, making them more easily appealing to a global audience."

Netizens are reacting enthusiastically, commenting things like 'LE SSERAFIM sets a new legend with every comeback!', 'This Spaghetti concept is so fresh and amazing!', 'j-hope's feature is a perfect match!', and 'Billboard Hot 100 #50 is incredible... proud of LE SSERAFIM's growth.'
