Moon So-ri and Jang Joon-hwan Surprise with Second Child Plans on 'Each Other's House'
Actress Moon So-ri and film director husband Jang Joon-hwan have surprised viewers with their unexpected announcement about trying for a second child on the tvN STORY reality show 'Each Other's House' (Literal translation: Each House Couple).
The episode, aired on the 6th, featured the first joint couple gathering between Moon So-ri and Jang Joon-hwan, and Kim Min-jae and Choi Yu-ra.
In a pre-released clip, the husbands are left alone while the wives go out, leading to utter chaos. The men are depicted in a 'labor day' scenario, digging in the yard while simultaneously juggling childcare duties. Kim Min-jae is particularly flustered by his son, Do-ha, who runs around energetically after shedding his clothes.
Meanwhile, the wives, Moon So-ri and Choi Yu-ra, enjoy a 'liberation day.' They are seen indulging in a massage in a five-star hotel room with a city view, savoring delicious food, and shopping at a vintage store. The two women spend their day laughing and chatting like close sisters.
As the exhausted husbands eagerly await their wives' return, Moon So-ri and Choi Yu-ra finally come home. The couples gather and engage in lively conversation. Amidst the laughter, director Jang Joon-hwan drops a bombshell: "Should we try for a sibling for Yeon-du?" This declaration shocks not only the studio audience but also the viewers at home. Moon So-ri responds with a smile, "How did you know what I was thinking?" as she holds her husband's hand.
Kim Jung-min, who appeared in the studio, commented that 'Each Other's House' might be turning into a 'pro-fertility encouragement program.'
The production team stated, "Following Kim Min-jae's heartfelt family story from the previous episode, this installment's 'labor day' and 'liberation day' in Jeju will offer viewers vicarious healing, catharsis through empathy, and explosive fun."
Netizens reacted enthusiastically, with comments like "A sibling for Yeon-du! I'm so excited!" and "Moon So-ri and Jang Joon-hwan are such a lovely couple," and "I totally relate to the dads struggling with childcare."
