Band Jannabi has made their comeback with their fourth full-length album, 'Sound of Music pt.2 : LIFE'.

While maintaining their signature 'chic rusticity,' the album shifts from the science-fiction cosmic themes of Part 1 to a more grounded narrative, focusing on the theme of 'first love' within everyday reality.

Vocalist Choi Jung-hoon shared, "We've reduced the electronic elements and captured the reality and emotions we face as we enter our thirties." He elaborated on the title track, 'Goodbye, First Love-', stating, "We attempted a tightrope walk between childishness and immaturity, with an unconventional progression."

The album features collaborations with veteran singer Yang Hee-eun and AKMU's Lee Su-hyun, expanding Jannabi's musical spectrum. Choi Jung-hoon recalled his collaboration with Yang Hee-eun as "one of the greatest moments in my musical career," describing her voice as "representing the voice of adults" and noting how she moved everyone to tears within just four takes. He also praised Lee Su-hyun, remarking on the "comfortable and creative atmosphere" during their session and her ability to instantly embody the 'mother' character, changing the song's texture.

Choi Jung-hoon further elaborated on the creative process, mentioning, "I composed the songs while walking on the streets of New York," and added, "Finding meaning hidden in everyday life and expressing it through music is romantic."

Netizens are expressing excitement for the new album, with comments like, "Jannabi's unique sensibility seems well-captured," "The collaboration with Yang Hee-eun and Lee Su-hyun is already highly anticipated," and "New masterpieces are bound to come from this album."
