
NEWBEAT Signs with China's Modern Sky for Global Expansion Ahead of Comeback
Rookie boy group NEWBEAT is set to make a significant global leap by partnering with China's largest music enterprise, Modern Sky, simultaneously with their comeback.
NEWBEAT (comprising Park Min-seok, Hong Min-seong, Jeon Yeo-jeong, Choi Seo-hyun, Kim Tae-yang, Jo Yun-hu, and Kim Ri-u) recently announced their management contract signing with Modern Sky, a prominent Chinese music company. This collaboration marks a significant intersection of K-pop and C-pop, drawing considerable attention from the music industry.
Modern Sky is China's largest entertainment company, boasting approximately 160 artists and having released over 600 albums. They are actively involved in music, publishing, artist management, and concert planning, and lead the youth culture scene by hosting major music festivals like the Strawberry Festival and MDSK Festival.
Through this partnership with Modern Sky, NEWBEAT plans to release official albums in China and engage in various promotional activities. The group has already garnered international recognition, having performed at 'KCON' in Japan and Los Angeles post their debut in March and receiving an award at the '2025 K WORLD DREAM AWARDS'.
This alliance with China's top entertainment firm is expected to serve as a crucial stepping stone for NEWBEAT to become a new icon of K-pop and expand their reach to global fans.
Meanwhile, NEWBEAT released their first mini-album 'LOUDER THAN EVER' today (6th) at 12 PM KST and will officially kick off their comeback promotions with a showcase live-streamed at 8 PM KST on the official SBS YouTube channel 'SBSKPOP X INKIGAYO'.
