G-Dragon and Cha Eun-woo's APEC Encounter Sparks Buzz: Heartwarming Photos Emerge

K-pop icon G-Dragon and actor Cha Eun-woo met at the official welcoming banquet for the APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation) Summit, creating a heartwarming moment that has garnered significant attention.

A short video titled ‘GD’s Day’ was released on G-Dragon’s official YouTube channel on the 5th. The clip documented G-Dragon's visit to Gyeongju for the APEC event, including his encounter with Cha Eun-woo.

Cha Eun-woo, who was serving as the master of ceremonies dressed in a suit instead of his military uniform, greeted G-Dragon with a sharp salute upon seeing him, showing his respect. G-Dragon responded with a smile, shaking Cha Eun-woo's hand and sharing a warm embrace, exchanging words of encouragement.

Previously, both artists played key roles at the APEC Leaders' Official Welcome Banquet on the 31st of last month. Cha Eun-woo hosted the event with fluent English and his renowned "face genius" visuals, while G-Dragon delivered a powerful 10-minute performance, reaffirming his status as a leading K-pop artist.

The highlight of G-Dragon's performance, where he appeared wearing a traditional Korean hat (gat), saw several world leaders and their entourages capturing the moment on their mobile phones, adding to the event's buzz.

Meanwhile, Cha Eun-woo enlisted in the military band in July and is currently serving as a Private First Class in the Ministry of National Defense Service Support Corps. He is set to release his second mini-album ‘ELSE’ on the 21st.
