Kim Dong-han, a member of the K-pop group WEi, is set to make his silver screen debut with the upcoming film 'Replay'.

'Replay' tells the story of an idol star embroiled in scandal, a promising taekwondo athlete sidelined by injury, and a ragtag group of hobby class students who band together for a shot at a life-changing comeback.

In the film, Kim Dong-han takes on the role of 'Hee-chan', a former promising national taekwondo prospect who now works as a martial arts instructor. Notably, leveraging his real-life background as a Hapkido athlete, Kim Dong-han performed his taekwondo action sequences without a stunt double, generating significant anticipation for his authentic portrayal.

Embodying the 'icon of passionate youth,' Kim Dong-han will navigate a narrative of growth as his character, alongside the hobby class students, overcomes individual setbacks and strives for victory in a taekwondo competition, showcasing the power of teamwork.

Reflecting on his screen debut, Kim Dong-han shared, "It's a deeply moving experience to see the results of our hard work, with director Hwang Kyung-sung, the staff, and my senior actors, finally being released." He added, "I had a lot of fun filming, and I hope everyone who watches the movie can take away a sense of pleasant healing."

The film 'Replay', marking Kim Dong-han's cinematic debut, will be released nationwide in theaters today (the 6th).

Fans are expressing excitement about Kim Dong-han's acting debut, with comments like 'Can't wait to see him act,' 'Looking forward to the action scenes,' and 'Definitely going to watch the movie!' flooding online platforms.
