Cha Eun-woo Announces Second Solo Mini-Album 'ELSE' Set for Release on the 21st
Singer and actor Cha Eun-woo is set to release his second solo mini-album, 'ELSE', on the 21st.
The artist unveiled the tracklist image for 'ELSE' through his official social media channels on the 6th, signaling his comeback. The album will feature a total of four tracks, including the title song 'SATURDAY PREACHER', along with 'Sweet Papaya', 'Selfish', and 'Thinkin’ Bout U'.
Notably, Lim Seul-ong of 2AM participated in writing the lyrics for 'Sweet Papaya' and 'SATURDAY PREACHER'. Producers imsuho, Nassim, and Dr.Han co-composed three of the album's B-side tracks, enhancing its overall quality and cohesion. The album, titled 'ELSE' meaning 'other' or 'besides', is expected to showcase Cha Eun-woo's boundless potential and multi-faceted spectrum.
Cha Eun-woo previously made a successful solo debut with his first mini-album 'ENTITY' in February last year, achieving number 1 on worldwide charts, topping iTunes in 21 regions, and selling over 210,000 copies in initial sales. He has also actively engaged with global fans through his concert tours and fan meetings.
The new album's recording sessions were completed prior to his military enlistment in July last year. Even during his service, an ARS event aimed at connecting with fans garnered over 100,000 calls, demonstrating significant public interest.
Meanwhile, Cha Eun-woo is also active as an actor, recently appearing in the movie 'First Ride'. His second solo album 'ELSE' will be released on various domestic and international music sites at 1 PM on the 21st, with pre-orders currently underway.
Fans are eagerly anticipating the release, commenting, 'Can't wait to listen!', 'So happy to hear Eun-woo's voice even while he's serving', and 'Thank you for always showing us new sides'.
