Krystal Returns to Music Scene with New Single 'Solitary'

Singer and actress Krystal (formerly known as Jung Soo-jung) is set to make her comeback as a solo musician.

On the 6th, Krystal surprised fans with the announcement of her new solo single at the end of the first episode of her self-produced content series, 'Charging Crystals,' released on the official YouTube channel of her agency, BANA.

The upcoming single is titled 'Solitary' and is scheduled for release on the 27th. Pre-orders will begin on the 13th at 3 PM KST.

The first episode of 'Charging Crystals' offered fans a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes of her album preparation, including recording sessions in London and Jeju, as well as a collaboration with renowned singer-songwriter Toro y Moi, heightening anticipation for her musical return.

Krystal has been actively pursuing her acting career, receiving critical acclaim and the Best New Actress award at the 33rd Buil Film Awards for her role in the 2023 film 'Cobweb.' She has also confirmed her participation in the upcoming tvN drama 'How to Become a Building Owner in Korea' alongside Ha Jung-woo and Im Soo-jung.

Krystal's new single 'Solitary' will be available on all domestic and international music platforms on the 27th at 6 PM KST.
