Mu Jin-sung Admits Worrying About 'Typhoon Sangsa' Fight Scene Backlash from Lee Jun-ho's Fans
Actor Mu Jin-sung, who is currently captivating audiences as the villain Pyo Hyun-jun in the tvN drama 'Typhoon Sangsa', has revealed his candid thoughts during the filming of a intense fight scene.
In a behind-the-scenes commentary video titled 'Disclose Malpyi! Pyo Hyun-jun's Perspective on Typhoon Sangsa Episodes 1-8', uploaded on the tvN DRAMA channel on the 6th, Mu Jin-sung shared anecdotes about his character's nicknames and the action sequences.
He humorously noted, "I heard 'Disclose Malpyi' as 'Welcome Malpyi'." He added, "I knew about the nicknames 'Malpyi' and 'Pyo-bal-nom' from people around me. Even though I haven't done anything significantly bad yet, I'm accepting these stories with good intentions."
When asked about the viral 'flying kick' scene, where his character clashes with Kang Tae-poong (played by Lee Jun-ho) early in the drama, Mu Jin-sung explained the dynamic.
"In reality, there weren't many direct confrontations with Tae-poong. Hyun-jun is always a little intimidated by Tae-poong," he said. "I'm good at acting and matching movements, so we filmed it to be as safe as possible. My real self is nice," he chuckled.
He further confessed, "While filming that scene, I had a premonition that "Tae-poong's fans would really dislike me," which led to laughter from the production team.
