Singer G-Dragon has captured public attention by candidly sharing his feelings of injustice and pain for the first time since the drug allegations surfaced.

Appearing on MBC's 'Son Suk-hee's Questions' on the 5th, G-Dragon explained the meaning behind his new song 'POWER'. He stated, "This song contains a message I wanted to convey by looking at the world from a third-person perspective." He added, "While I wove my story into satire and metaphor, the intended meaning was clear."

When anchor Son Suk-hee asked if the message referred to "that incident last year," G-Dragon cautiously replied, "Around the time I was making the album, I became involved in a certain incident..." Son confirmed, "The incident we all know about," implying the drug allegations.

"Even from a third-person view, it was something I didn't want to know, but at some point, I became the person involved," G-Dragon confessed. "The hardest part was that I had no place to speak." He elaborated, "Despite being the party involved, I had no space to express my feelings or stance. Even though I was a victim, instead of shouting about my innocence, I could only watch as things spiraled out of control."

He described that period as "hollow and futile," lamenting, "I couldn't protest, I couldn't hold a press conference. I just had to endure that time. It was so frustrating to have to bear it." Son Suk-hee empathized, acknowledging, "There must have been unspeakable pain despite being a clear victim."

This is not the first time G-Dragon has shared such inner thoughts. In October last year, on tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block,' he spoke about his state of mind then, saying, "I felt cornered without finding answers. I was afraid of having dangerous thoughts if I became mentally depleted, so I tried hard to stay centered."

His recent statements resonate even more deeply. G-Dragon, reflecting calmly rather than with bitterness, added, "All that time was pain and process. Now, I will respond through music and art."

Meanwhile, G-Dragon resumed his activities with the new song 'POWER' about a year after the incident. He continues to communicate with the world in his unique way, on a journey of transforming his scars into art.

Netizens reacted with empathy and support, commenting, 'G-Dragon must have gone through a really tough time,' 'It's so heartbreaking that he couldn't speak out during the hardest moments,' and 'His words about responding through music are impressive.'
