Singer-songwriter Lucid Fall unveiled his 11th full-length album, 'Another Place,' today (7th) at 6 PM, sending a message of solidarity and hope towards the brilliant sunshine.

'Another Place' marks Lucid Fall's first full album in approximately three years since 'Voice and Guitar' released in November 2022. He has poured his heart into the entire album, personally handling songwriting, composition, arrangement, mixing, and even vinyl mastering, showcasing his dedication.

The title track, 'A Person Who Became a Flower,' is a love song with a simple structure that is easy for anyone to relate to and enjoy. The recurring lyrics contemplate the essence of love, prompting a deeper reflection on the subject.

Beyond the title track, the album features a diverse range of songs. 'Pieta' expresses the increasing closeness to dystopia through a dramatic arrangement of a wailing vocal backed by the ensemble of four distinct guitarists playing jazz, fingerstyle, and flamenco. 'Mind' captures the delicate nuances of the human heart with lyrics that blend seamlessly with a 1970s psychedelic folk sound. 'Song of the Old Olive Tree' symbolizes the chaos and anxiety of reality through a sound texture of tension, characterized by unusual key changes and rhythmic variations, coupled with bold, unconventional tunings.

'Another Place' also includes a Portuguese version of his 2005 song 'Dream of Becoming Water,' titled 'Água,' which maintains the original's lyrical sensibility while creating a completely new sound with the rhythm and intonation of Portuguese. 'Narcissus' offers a warm confession to those who overcome winter and greet the spring sunshine together. 'Les Misérables Part 3' follows his 2009 work 'Les Misérables Part 1, 2' after a 16-year hiatus, highlighting passionate guitar performances. 'Vernal Equinox' delivers a clear message of hope, quoting poet Misuzu Kaneko's 'Towards the Light' over explosive drums and percussion.

Through tracks that project the contrasting moments of life and feature intersecting landscapes and dramatic emotions, 'Another Place' conveys a message of support for those who have reached 'another place' by embracing hope and solidarity together.

The album's completeness is further enhanced by the participation of renowned international musicians. These include Spanish guitarist Pau Figueres, known for his award-winning debut and Latin Grammy performances; Mariano "Tiki" Cantero, drummer and percussionist for the Argentine jazz trio Aca Seca Trio; Brazilian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Chico Bernardes; and Spanish drummer Dídak Fernández. Mastering was handled by Brian Lucey, a Grammy Award winner recognized for his work on the 'Greatest Showman' OST and collaborations with artists like Michael Bublé and Lizzo, adding another layer of appeal.

Following the album's release, Lucid Fall will hold his exclusive concert, '2025 Lucid Fall 11th Album Release Concert 'Another Place',' from the 28th to the 30th at the ECC Samsung Hall at Ewha Womans University in Seoul. He plans to meet fans with a setlist that fully embodies his stories, including the new songs from 'Another Place.'

Netizens are welcoming his comeback, with comments like, "Lucid Fall, as always, a reliable listen," "Looking forward to the emotional melodies and lyrics," and "The collaborations really promise a high-quality album."
