'Reply 1988' 10th Anniversary MT Photos Revealed: Ra Mi-ran, Kim Sung-kyun, Hyeri, Park Bo-gum Reunite

Photos from the 10th anniversary MT (Membership Training) trip for the beloved drama 'Reply 1988' have been released, sparking widespread interest among fans.

On the 6th, the tvN variety channel 'Channel Fifteen Night' (십오야) shared several pictures on social media with the caption, "'Reply 1988' 10th Anniversary, See You Soon This Winter." The released images show the cast members warmly gathered around a table, enjoying a meal in a cheerful atmosphere. Notable appearances include Ra Mi-ran and Kim Sung-kyun, who played a married couple in the drama, along with Ryu Hye-young, Lee Min-ji, Lee Dong-hwi, Hyeri, and Park Bo-gum, adding a touch of nostalgia.

Previously, in August, OSEN reported exclusively that the production company Egg is Coming, led by PD Shin Won-ho, had organized a group MT to commemorate the 10th anniversary of 'Reply 1988'. Approximately 15 main cast members attended the event held at a location in Gangwon Province, with Hyeri also present.

However, Ryu Jun-yeol was reportedly unable to attend due to his filming schedule for the new Netflix series 'Hunting Dogs'.

Later, a media outlet reported that Ryu Jun-yeol had joined the 10th-anniversary special filming after adjusting his schedule, leading to speculation about whether he would reunite on screen with his ex-girlfriend, Hyeri. However, further investigation by OSEN confirmed that Ryu Jun-yeol only participated in individual opening filming, separate from the group MT. A broadcasting official stated, "The centerpiece of the 10th-anniversary content is the MT site, and Ryu Jun-yeol participated separately. There was no joint filming with Hyeri."

'Reply 1988', which first aired in November 2015, became a national drama, achieving a peak viewership rating of 18.8% (based on Nielsen Korea's paid households). Even after the series concluded, the cast members have maintained their close friendships, and this 10th-anniversary MT and special content are set to bring back cherished memories for fans once again.

Meanwhile, Hyeri and Ryu Jun-yeol, who met through 'Reply 1988', began dating publicly in 2017 but announced their breakup in 2023. While there was considerable attention on the possibility of their reunion on broadcast, the confirmation of separate filming has left fans with a sense of slight disappointment.
