MC Im Sung-ho Returns with 'The Great Challenge' Focusing on Health Recovery Journeys

MC Im Sung-ho is set to return to television with a new program dedicated to the journey of health recovery.

Premiering on MBN on November 9th at 8:40 AM, 'Im Sung-ho's The Great Challenge' is a revamped real-life health and challenge program, previously known as 'Im Sung-ho's Star Gene X-File'. The show will vividly document the transformation of individuals facing health vulnerabilities into healthier versions of themselves.

The core of the program lies in challengers and health supporters teaming up for a four-week improvement project, where they directly witness physical and mental changes through customized health solutions.

The first episode will focus on the theme 'The Correlation Between Immunity and Body Temperature', set against the backdrop of November when immunity tends to drop due to rapid temperature shifts. Given that it is World Pancreatic Cancer Day and the Korean Cancer Association's designated 'Lung Cancer Awareness Month', crucial body temperature management tips for cancer patients and survivors will be unveiled.

Trot singer Shinbi, who endured 17 rounds of chemotherapy and a total mastectomy for breast cancer, will team up with Yoon Ji-young. Suffering from post-surgery symptoms like peripheral neuropathy and a weakened immune system, she expresses her concern over her declining immunity.

Additionally, Choi Hye-ryun, an ordinary citizen living with the anxiety of recurrence after the removal of a 13cm ovarian tumor, will take on the health mission with actor Lee Gwang-gi. She also suffers from widespread pain, insomnia, and cold extremities.
