LUCY Unveils 'Dying On You (Feat. WONSTEIN)' MV, Announces 'LUCID LINE' Concert
Band LUCY continues to heat up the music scene with their new release.
On the 6th, LUCY dropped the music video for 'Dying On You (Feat. WONSTEIN)', one of the double title tracks from their 7th mini-album 'SURE'.
The music video depicts protagonists living in a world where music is forbidden, compromising in their daily lives as they grow weary. Escaping the suffocating reality and running beyond the 'line', they are met with the LUCY members freely playing music, bringing bright smiles to their faces.
'Dying On You (Feat. WONSTEIN)' showcases LUCY's new genre exploration, blending jazz and R&B. Member Cho Won-sang participated in the lyrics, composition, and arrangement, enhancing the song's completeness. Jazz piano and gypsy violin lead an urban vibe, complemented by rhythmic instrumentation and lush string sounds that evoke deep emotions. Notably, the string tremolo in the mid-section delicately expresses the complex inner state of a speaker who has decided to let go, heightening the immersion.
LUCY's 7th mini-album 'SURE' revolves around the theme of 'Indefinable Love', exploring diverse forms of love and relationships that change based on connections and bindings, all interpreted through LUCY's unique sensibility. The album features a total of four tracks, including the double title songs 'Dying On You (Feat. WONSTEIN)' and 'How About Love', along with 'EIO' and 'Eternal Love'. Following their previous works, member Cho Won-sang was involved in the overall album production, presenting an evolved musical 'line'.
Furthermore, LUCY will be holding their eighth solo concert, '2025 LUCY 8TH CONCERT 'LUCID LINE'', from the 7th to the 9th at the Ticketlink Live Arena in Olympic Park, Seoul. With all seats for the three shows sold out, LUCY is set to draw a 'clearly shining line' in their fans' hearts with a rich setlist encompassing both new songs and representative hits, showcasing their musical capabilities.
Fans reacted enthusiastically to the new MV and concert announcement, with comments like 'LUCY's vocal tone is insane,' 'The music is so good, I want to go to the concert already,' and 'Trustworthy LUCY, this album is a hit too!' expressing their high anticipation for the new release and excitement for the upcoming concert.
