Lee Hyo-ri Flustered by Kim Young-ok's 'A Lucky Clover' Mention: 'It Was Supposed to Be a Secret!'

Singer Lee Hyo-ri couldn't hide her surprise after veteran actress Kim Young-ok brought up their past collaboration, the drama 'A Lucky Clover.'

The final episode of the Coupang Play K-beauty survival show 'Just Makeup,' released on the evening of the 7th, featured the grand finale.

The top three finalists, Dolce Vita, Son Tail, and Paris Geumson, competed in the final round with the theme 'Dreams as an Actor.' Veteran actresses Jung Hye-sun, Ban Hyo-jung, and Kim Young-ok appeared as models, receiving a warm welcome from the audience.

Kim Young-ok remarked, 'I heard you're going to transform us. Do a good job. I'm curious to see how the three of you will create it. I'll be watching your skills.'

MC Lee Hyo-ri asked, 'What kind of roles have you usually played? I'm curious about the characters you've portrayed throughout your acting career.' To this, Kim Young-ok retorted, 'You really want to ask that? Haven't you seen it? We did that together, didn't we? What clover was it? 'A Lucky Clover'?'

The two previously worked together in the 2005 SBS drama 'A Lucky Clover.' This drama marked Lee Hyo-ri's acting debut, and at the time, her less-than-perfect acting skills became a topic of discussion, alongside the show's low ratings.

Visibly surprised, Lee Hyo-ri said, 'I told you earlier that drama is a secret. You don't have to talk about it,' while Kim Young-ok added, 'I played your grandmother in the drama.' Lee Hyo-ri laughed, 'You played my grandmother,' acknowledging the fact. Kim Young-ok commented, 'Hyo-ri, you did okay, but the ratings just weren't good.' Lee Hyo-ri replied, 'Still, I'm grateful you said I did okay.' Kim Young-ok recalled, 'You did well, I only pointed out your low-toned voice a bit,' to which Lee Hyo-ri added, 'I was pointed out quite a lot.'
