Lee Kwang-soo, Kim Woo-bin, Do Kyung-soo Narrowly Escape Cancun Traffic Accident
Lee Kwang-soo, Kim Woo-bin, and Do Kyung-soo of 'Kong Kong Pang Pang' had a heart-stopping moment when they nearly got into a traffic accident in Cancun, Mexico.
In the fourth episode of the tvN variety show 'Kong Sseum-eun De Kong Nasseo Useum Pang Haengbok Pang Hae-oe Tam-bang' (abbreviated as 'Kong Kong Pang Pang'), aired on November 7th, the trio embarked on an overseas exploration trip to Mexico to seek insights for the company's development, taking on roles as CEO, auditor, and division head of KKPP Foods.
Upon arriving in Cancun, the travel party rented a car. Kim Woo-bin, who has experience driving abroad, took the wheel. While driving smoothly, a black car suddenly cut into their lane, creating a dangerous situation.
Kim Woo-bin managed to avoid a collision by quickly swerving into the adjacent lane. Do Kyung-soo recounted the incident, stating, "It was the car in front's fault. A white car cut in sharply, and the black car hit it." He added, "The car next to us also swerved aggressively, and we almost got hit. If we had just braked, they would have hit us. The car next to us was lane splitting."
Kim Woo-bin, who was driving, exclaimed, "Whoa, that scared me!" and added, "If there had been a car on our right, we would have definitely crashed."
They also discussed their rental car insurance, mentioning, "The insurance covered 90%, meaning we had to cover 10%. If we had even a minor fender bender, we would have to pay for it and head straight back to Seoul."
Later, while driving, Lee Kwang-soo noticed the front car's windshield was cracked and questioned, "Is this okay? Are we glad we rented this car?" Kim Woo-bin replied, "I don't know. I thought it was perfect until I witnessed the accident, but now I'm suddenly scared," drawing laughter.
