EJAE Nominated for Grammy 'Song of the Year' for 'K-POP: Demon Hunters' OST: 'Beyond Imagination'

Singer-songwriter EJAE expressed her overwhelming emotions upon being nominated for a prestigious Grammy Award for 'Song of the Year' for her contribution to the Netflix animated film 'K-POP: Demon Hunters'.

The original soundtrack 'Golden' from 'K-POP: Demon Hunters' secured a nomination in the 'Song of the Year' category at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, announced on the 7th (local time). The OST, in total, received nominations in five different categories, drawing significant attention.

EJAE not only participated in the lyric and music composition of 'Golden' but also lent her voice to the character 'Lumi,' a member of the fictional girl group 'Huntrix,' performing the vocal parts.

On her Instagram post on the 8th, EJAE shared, "I can't find the words to describe how I feel right now. A Grammy nomination for 'Song of the Year' is beyond anything I could have ever imagined. Saying it's a dream come true feels insufficient."

She further credited the fans and her colleagues for this achievement, stating, "This would have been impossible without the fans who loved the movie." EJAE also expressed her gratitude to her 'Huntrix' bandmates, singers Ray Amy (Joy Part) and Audrey Nuna (Mira Part).

Congratulations poured in from fellow artists. Ray Amy remarked, "It's a true honor to be part of this journey. The Huntrix girls are going global!" Audrey Nuna also tagged EJAE and Ray Amy, commenting, "See you at the Grammys."

Meanwhile, this year's Grammy nominations also highlighted several other K-POP-related artists. Rosé of BLACKPINK received three nominations, including 'Song of the Year' and 'Record of the Year' for her hit song 'APT.'.
