
Lucidפול Delivers Comfort and Hope Through Music on 'The Seasons'
Singer-songwriter Lucidפול graced the KBS2 show 'The Seasons - 10CM's Cozy Hug' with his presence, offering a deeply resonant musical experience to viewers.
Appearing as the fourth artist in the 'Life Music' project celebrating 30 years of indie music, Lucidפול kicked off the show with his signature song 'Mackerel.' This track, with lyrics that empower ordinary people, resonated as he sang, 'You worked hard / For this one day today,' delivering a message of comfort.
A surprise duet with 10CM followed, where they performed 'Where the Wind Blows,' filling the autumn night with profound emotion. 10CM expressed his admiration, stating, 'Every single note from sunbae-nim's music is precious.'
Discussing his first full album in about three years, 'Another Place,' Lucidפול shared, 'I wanted to tell stories of people in places different from Korea.' He also spoke about his collaborations with musicians from Spain and Brazil. He further captivated the audience with his unique lyrical charm by performing 'Água,' the Portuguese version of his 2005 song 'Dream of Becoming Water.'
His final performance, the title track 'The Person Who Became a Flower,' presented a simple rhythm and lyrics that penetrated the essence of love, bringing a pleasant energy to the listeners. The repetitive yet profound lyrics left a lasting impression.
Released on the 7th, the album 'Another Place' features Lucidפול's personal touch, as he participated in writing, composing, arranging, mixing, and mastering, doubling its authenticity. The album, containing a total of nine tracks, conveys Lucidפול's unique message of hope and solidarity for those who have reached 'another place' different from the present.
Lucidפול took full creative control of his 11th full album, 'Another Place,' handling songwriting, composition, arrangement, mixing, and even vinyl mastering, showcasing his versatility as an all-around singer-songwriter. The album is praised by fans for its diverse narratives, echoing the album's title, by incorporating cultural elements and musical experiments from various countries alongside Korea.
