Jeremy Renner Denies Ex-Partner's Claims of Explicit Photos and Blackmail
Hollywood actor Jeremy Renner, widely known for his role as Hawkeye, has strongly refuted allegations made by his former business partner, director Yi Zhou, claiming he sent explicit photos and resorted to threats.
According to a Page Six report on October 7 (local time), Renner's representative issued a statement, declaring that the accusations are "completely inaccurate and untrue."
Earlier, on October 6, Yi Zhou had alleged on her social media that Renner began sending her 'personal and intimate photos' starting in June. She further claimed that when she pointed out his past inappropriate behavior, he threatened to report her to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), causing her deep shock.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, the director also released screenshots of videos she claims Renner sent, which reportedly depicted explicit sexual acts between male and female performers.
Yi Zhou stated, "I have the photos and porn he sent. He pursued me. I didn't even know his name. He used me and denied our relationship and work," hinting that a brief romantic relationship had developed during their interactions.
Fans are reacting with a mix of skepticism and concern. Some comments online include, "Why is this coming out now? So unexpected," and "He needs to manage his image carefully." Others are expressing support for Renner, with one fan remarking, "Renner's going to unleash his 'Hulk-like' anger on these claims, I bet."
