Broadcaster Jeon Hyun-moo has declared his ambition to become a 'running icon' and has taken on the challenge of an '8km Puppy Run.'

On the MBC entertainment show 'I Live Alone,' aired on the 7th, Jeon Hyun-moo's journey into running was showcased. He proclaimed himself 'Murathoner,' vowing to be the new running icon. SHINee member Key humorously commented, 'If Sean quits, then it's real.'

Jeon Hyun-moo explained his motivation for starting running, stating, 'I've been losing stamina due to a busy schedule lately. I heard running is great for boosting physical strength.' He also referenced seeing Kian84 working at Park Na-rae's maternal grandparents' home, noting, 'He lost face, but he has stamina.' Unlike Kian84's arduous runs, Jeon Hyun-moo humorously declared he would engage in 'wellness running,' where stopping, sitting, or even lying down is permissible if it gets too tough.

Before his first run, Jeon Hyun-moo visited a running gear store, purchasing about 1 million won worth of equipment and securing a 10% discount through membership registration. His inaugural run was the 8km 'Puppy Run,' a course starting and ending in Gwanghwamun, passing through Gyeongbok Palace, Samcheong-dong, and Insadong. As a self-proclaimed 'dog lover,' the route held special meaning for him.

However, a comical incident occurred when he encountered actor Bong Tae-gyu during the run but failed to recognize him. Jeon Hyun-moo quipped, 'I was too absorbed in myself.' Upon realizing later that Bong Tae-gyu had even tapped his shoulder to get his attention, Jeon Hyun-moo remarked, 'Citizens often tap me. I feel so sorry. I must send him a text today.'

SHINee member Minho praised Jeon Hyun-moo's running form, saying, 'His form is better than I expected.' However, Jeon Hyun-moo admitted with a laugh, 'My body ached terribly the next day.' After successfully completing the Puppy Run, he admired the GPS route, exclaiming, 'It's cute!' Despite running a total of 11.04km, his pace of around 12 minutes per kilometer brought laughter.
