Announcer Kwak Min-sun Announces Marriage to Footballer Song Min-kyu Alongside Jeonbuk Hyundai's Championship Win

Broadcaster Kwak Min-sun has announced her upcoming marriage to footballer Song Min-kyu, coinciding with Jeonbuk Hyundai's K League 1 championship victory.

On March 9th, Kwak shared photos on her personal social media with the caption, "Getting married alongside Jeonbuk Hyundai's K League 1 championship win." The images show scenes from the championship celebration held at Jeonju World Cup Stadium. In the photos, Kwak is seen wearing a championship medal around her neck and a tiara, with a moved expression as she looks at the camera.

During the event, Song Min-kyu celebrated the victory with his teammates. He also drew attention and congratulations by posing as if offering the championship trophy to his fiancée, Kwak Min-sun, while kneeling.

Kwak expressed her joy, stating, "I wanted to cheer on the 'winning mentality' since last year, and in response to the surprise proposal ceremony in May, I've now had this moment. I never imagined it would lead to a championship after so many victories. Congratulations."

She added, "After the awards ceremony, during family time, I was also able to approach the trophy and share this historic moment of Jeonbuk Hyundai's K League's first-ever 10th championship title. It's an honor. Everyone worked so hard."

Previously, in May, Song Min-kyu performed a surprise proposal ceremony for Kwak after scoring a goal. At the time, Kwak playfully responded, "You should at least win the championship, one goal won't cut it." Now, with Jeonbuk Hyundai's championship win, their connection has become even more special.

Kwak Min-sun and Song Min-kyu are scheduled to marry in December. The couple recently garnered attention after revealing their newlywed home on the TV Chosun entertainment program 'Joseon's Lover'.
