Jo Jung-suk Reveals Unexpected Story Behind Second Child's Conception on 'My Little Old Boy'
Actor Jo Jung-suk appeared as a special MC on the SBS entertainment show ‘My Little Old Boy’ (MiUsae) and shared a surprising story about his second child's conception.
Jo Jung-suk, who had previously mentioned no plans for a second child, recently received congratulations for the news of his wife's pregnancy. Recalling a time when he was filming for the movie ‘The Plot’ in Namhae and apart from his wife, Gummy, he shared, "My wife suddenly called and said, 'Honey, shall we try for a second child?' It was such an out-of-the-blue question that I jumped up from my seat."
When Shin Dong-yup jokingly asked if he immediately went up to Seoul, Jo Jung-suk replied, "That was the plan in my heart. I was so happy and delighted during filming that I started preparations right away." He added that he had privately expressed his desire for a second child to Shin Dong-yup before.
Jo Jung-suk further revealed the touching reason behind their second child's nickname, 'Neip' (Four-leaf clover). He said, "One day while on a walk, my wife asked if I'd ever seen a four-leaf clover. We stopped and found one right there. The next day, we found another one, and then we found out about the pregnancy," he shared, adding warmth to the story.
Netizens reacted positively to the revelation, with comments like, "Jo Jung-suk and his wife are such a lovely couple," "A four-leaf clover for a nickname, how fateful," "Congratulations on the second child!" and "It's nice to see them so down-to-earth despite being celebrities."
