K-pop group ILLIT has sent global fans' anticipation soaring by dropping a surprise spoiler for their upcoming release during their exclusive concert.

The five-member group, consisting of Yoon-a, Min-ju, Mo-ka, Won-hee, and Iro-ha, successfully concluded their '2025 ILLIT GLITTER DAY ENCORE' concert on August 8-9 at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Seoul. This encore performance marked the finale of their tour, which began in Seoul in June and extended to Kanagawa and Osaka in Japan throughout August and September. All 8,000 seats were sold out, proving ILLIT's powerful ticket-selling prowess.

As the concert was held ahead of their upcoming 1st single album 'NOT CUTE ANYMORE' release on the 24th, the fans' excitement was palpable. Living up to expectations, ILLIT began the show with a bold declaration: "We have a surprise spoiler gift for you." They then unveiled a snippet of choreography with a chic expression, filling the venue with cheers.

The encore concert featured a more diverse setlist and segments. ILLIT performed all the tracks from their 3rd mini-album 'bomb', released in June, including the title track 'Flower (Do the Dance)'. They also made fans' hearts race by unveiling the title track 'Toki Yo Tomare' from their first Japanese single, released in September, for the first time in Korea.

Hit songs such as 'Tick-Tack', 'I'll Like You', 'Lucky Girl Syndrome', 'Magnetic', and 'Almond Chocolate (Korean Ver.)' led to massive sing-alongs from the audience. With each performance, their increasingly confident and polished execution, along with stable live vocals, stood out.

A particularly delightful segment included rich cover performances. ILLIT delivered a group cover of LE SSERAFIM's 'Perfect Night', followed by captivating solo stages: Yoon-a performed Jeon Somi's 'Fast Forward', Min-ju covered Heize's 'And July', Mo-ka sang BOL4's 'Some', Won-hee presented Baek Yerin's 'Square (2017)', and Iro-ha showcased JENNIE's 'Mantra', each performance highlighting their individual charms. They further captivated the audience with a K-pop dance challenge relay, performed solo or in units through games, showcasing their limitless appeal.

The synergy with their fandom, GLLIT, was also remarkable. ILLIT surprised fans by appearing in the audience and coming down from the stage to make eye contact and greet them, creating unforgettable moments. They also engaged in a double encore, repeatedly performing 'oops!' after singing 'Midnight Picnic' with the audience, sending fans into a frenzy.

Towards the end of the concert, the members were moved to tears. They expressed their gratitude, saying, "Thanks to you all, we've been able to grow. Every time we performed this year, we truly felt how precious GLLIT is to us. During this concert too, we felt so loved by GLLIT." They pledged, "Please wait for the day we perform on even bigger stages. We will strive to become artists you can be proud of."

ILLIT heightened anticipation for their new album until the very end, playfully stating, "We've packed all our cuteness into this performance, but as of today, our cuteness is over. Cute is now a forbidden word. We ask for your great anticipation for our 1st single album 'NOT CUTE ANYMORE'," which garnered enthusiastic responses from fans. ILLIT is set to release concept photos for the new album sequentially on the 10th and 12th.

Following the spoiler, Korean netizens flooded online communities with comments like, "The stage was legendary!", "Can't wait for the comeback, the spoiler already looks amazing!", and "Already anticipating the killing parts!"
