Singer Kang Sung-hee, who re-established her name through JTBC's 'Sing Again 3', is embarking on a new musical journey after a four-year hiatus.

Kang Sung-hee will meet fans today (10th) at noon KST as she releases her new single album, 'But You Know', on various music platforms.

The album features a total of two tracks, including the title song 'But You Know' and 'I Just Wanted to Be Loved'. It captures Kang Sung-hee's sincere emotions after experiencing significant personal loss and finding the courage to sing again. The songs are imbued with her story, empowered by the warm encouragement from those around her who urged her to 'sing happily'.

The title track, 'But You Know', delicately portrays a heart that lingers with unspoken words turned into longing, as expressed in the chorus: 'Watching the stars, watching the sea, watching the moon, I miss you, I miss you'. The song's completeness is enhanced by Kang Sung-hee's personally penned lyrics, complemented by melodies from her 'Sing Again 3' TOP10 peers. The warm harmony, born from their friendship and sincerity, doubles the emotional impact.

'I Just Wanted to Be Loved' is a song with a bluesy rhythm that explores the heart's inability to let go of feelings, even when aware they aren't reciprocated. Kang Sung-hee's signature deep vocal tone shines through, with vocals delivered as if whispered right beside you. The harmonious blend of piano and guitar adds a lingering resonance.

Having started her career in an indie band in 1997 and later serving as the vocalist for Shinchon Blues in 2014, Kang Sung-hee gained renewed recognition by reaching the TOP7 on JTBC's 'Sing Again 3' last year. Currently active, she is scheduled to hold her solo concert 'But You Know' on the 21st at the Cloud Under Theater in Hongdae, Mapo-gu, Seoul.

Netizens are expressing excitement over Kang Sung-hee's comeback, recalling the deep emotion she conveyed on 'Sing Again 3'. Comments like "Just hearing her voice makes me tear up" and "Looking forward to the new songs! I'll definitely go to the concert too" are flooding in.
