Miyeon, a member of the popular K-pop group (G)I-DLE, has become a hot topic after revealing her past admiration for national MC Yoo Jae-suk.

Appearing as a guest on KBS Cool FM's 'Park Myung-soo's Radio Show' on the 10th, following her solo album comeback, Miyeon shared an anecdote about naming Yoo Jae-suk as her role model during her childhood.

Miyeon explained that she was a fan of the show 'Infinite Challenge' during her elementary school days. When she had an assignment to research a person she admired, she chose Yoo Jae-suk without hesitation. "I chose the national MC, senior Yoo Jae-suk, as the person I respected," she said, conveying her pure feelings from that time.

She further surprised listeners by confessing, "I even called his agency back then because I really wanted to interview senior Yoo Jae-suk." Although the call wasn't connected, it highlighted the passion of a young fan.

In addition, Miyeon shared her honest thoughts about DJ Park Myung-soo. While she found his frequent outbursts intimidating and unrelatable as an elementary school student, she now finds him "so relatable and [has] grown to like him a lot," humorously adding, "He's left many memorable quotes."

Netizens who tuned into the broadcast commented, "So she was a Yoo Jae-suk fan since she was little," "Miyeon is so cute," and "Looks like a collection of Park Myung-soo's famous quotes is coming," showing a variety of reactions.
