Comedienne Park Mi-sun made her first television appearance since undergoing treatment for breast cancer, openly sharing the previously unknown struggles and recovery process she endured.

In a pre-released clip for tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block' on the 10th, Park Mi-sun appeared with newly short hair, capturing viewers' attention. Greeting the audience with a bright smile, she stated, "There's so much fake news, so I came out to report I'm alive." However, behind her smile lay a deeply challenging period.

Park Mi-sun confessed, "I was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer and halted all activities." She added, "I haven't fully recovered yet, and I was told it's a type of cancer for which the word 'cured' cannot be used." She continued, "Actually, before the cancer, I was hospitalized for pneumonia. For two weeks, I received antibiotics and IV fluids, really everything. We didn't know the cause, my face swelled up, and it was incredibly difficult," she recalled, her voice trembling.

She described the agonizing treatment, saying, "It was treatment to stay alive, but it felt like dying." Despite this, she added, "I am grateful that I can stand here again." Fellow cast member Yoo Jae-suk offered warm support with a hug, saying, "I really missed you. Our close sister, Park Mi-sun, is back healthy," filling the set with touching emotion.

Meanwhile, Park Mi-sun was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer at the beginning of the year and focused on her treatment. This broadcast marks her return after a period of absence.

Korean netizens have flooded social media with messages of support, commenting, "You've been through so much, unnie," "Thank you for always showing us a bright side," and "We hope to see you continue to be healthy."
