HYBE Gathers 80 Global Leaders in Incheon to Chart Future Vision and Global Expansion
Approximately 80 leaders from HYBE's global regional corporations are convening to discuss the company's future vision and global expansion strategies.
HYPE announced that it will host the 'Global Leadership Summit' from November 11th to 13th in Incheon, bringing together leaders from across its global operations. This summit serves as a platform for executives and key leaders from HYBE's six regional corporations, including those in Korea, Japan, the United States, South America, China, and India, to review growth strategies, share mid-to-long-term visions, and discuss the future as 'One HYBE'. This marks the fourth iteration of the summit since its inception in June 2023.
This year's summit is the largest to date, with an attendance of around 80 global leaders. This includes HYBE Chairman Bang Si-hyuk and CEO Lee Jae-sang, leaders from various labels and business units within the HYBE MUSIC GROUP, HYBE Japan Chairman Kim Young-min, HYBE AMERICA Chairman and CEO Isaac Lee, HYBE x Geffen Records President Mitra Darab, and Big Machine Label Group (BMLG) CEO Scott Borchetta.
Over the three days, participants will review the progress of key businesses in areas such as music, platforms, and tech-based future growth initiatives, following the announcement of HYBE's new business strategy 'HYBE 2.0' in August last year. They will also share more refined mid-to-short-term plans. Discussions will focus on sharing regional business objectives and directions within the music domain and exploring ways to create synergy among global multi-homes. Notably, given the recent successes in discovering and promoting local artists in Japan, the US, and Latin America, sessions will be held for regional executives to share insights gained from implementing multi-home and multi-genre strategies locally, and to discuss the next steps.
Lee Jae-sang, CEO of HYBE, stated, "The reason HYBE's six global regional corporations can grow with a unified vision lies in our culture of pursuing co-growth by finding the best direction through candid discussions and debates based on experiences and ideas from each region. This summit will be an opportunity to share insights accumulated while implementing the HYBE 2.0 strategy across global multi-homes and to create greater synergy for growth."
Korean netizens expressed excitement about the summit, commenting things like, 'HYBE's scale is truly different,' 'As a global fan, I'm even more excited for the future!', and 'It's great that such an important meeting is being held in Incheon.'
