Singer and producer MC Mong is facing widespread criticism both domestically and internationally after publicly displaying a portrait of Adolf Hitler in his home.

Recently, MC Mong shared a video of his home interior on his social media account, set to the song 'Home Sweet Home' by Car, the Garden. The video clearly showed a portrait of Adolf Hitler hanging on a wall along the staircase, quickly igniting controversy.

Adolf Hitler, the notorious dictator and leader of Nazi Germany, is infamous for initiating World War II and for the systematic genocide of millions of civilians. His ideology and actions are condemned globally, with related symbols being legally banned or strictly regulated in many countries.

The public display of such a historically sensitive figure's portrait has shocked and drawn condemnation from netizens worldwide, not just in Korea. Some are questioning whether MC Mong harbors admiration or sympathy for Hitler's ideology.

Given MC Mong's past controversies, including hate speech directed at homosexual individuals, some netizens have reacted with apathy, stating, "I'm not even surprised." While a few suggested he might not have recognized Hitler, others argued, "If he didn't know, it's an even bigger problem."

MC Mong has yet to issue any official statement regarding the controversy.

Previously, MC Mong announced plans to pause his Korean activities to study abroad, citing health issues and difficulties in pursuing music. He stated his intention to find ways to continue his music career for a longer period. However, shortly after announcing his plans for further education, he found himself embroiled in the Hitler portrait controversy, potentially alienating his global fanbase.

Korean netizens expressed strong disapproval, commenting, "A celebrity who forgets history has no future," and "Even so, a Hitler portrait crosses the line," condemning MC Mong's imprudent actions.
