The theme for '2025 MAMA AWARDS' is 'UH-HEUNG,' a concept explained by Mnet's Lee Young-joo PD as "a fearless shout of embracing everything about oneself and living authentically, regardless of background, race, or culture." He added, "K-pop shone brighter than ever in 2025, and 'Heung' (excitement/vibrancy) was at its core."
With actors Park Bo-gum and Kim Hye-soo as hosts, the event promises a spectacular lineup of performances from top K-pop artists, alongside a star-studded awards ceremony featuring trendsetters from various fields.
Lee Young-joo PD emphasized the hosts' role as 'storytellers' connecting global fans. "Michelle Yeoh will join us as a presenter," he announced, drawing significant attention to the international guest.
