'2025 MAMA AWARDS' Announces 'UH-HEUNG' Concept and Star-Studded Lineup

The '2025 MAMA AWARDS' is gearing up to showcase the pinnacle of K-culture with its ambitious 'UH-HEUNG' (translated as 'Roar') concept.

A press premiere held at the CJ ENM Center Talent Studio on the 11th unveiled the multifaceted nature of this year's ceremony. Originating in 1999 as the Mnet 'Video Music Awards,' evolving into the Mnet ASIAN MUSIC AWARDS in 2009, and rebranding as Mnet AWARDS in 2022, MAMA has solidified its status as a global music awards show. This year, the theme 'UH-HEUNG' is set to captivate audiences worldwide.

Esteemed actors Park Bo-gum and Kim Hye-soo will grace the stage as hosts, elevating the prestige of the event. Furthermore, a star-studded lineup of 25 world-class presenters, who have led trends and garnered immense popularity throughout 2025, was revealed, sparking significant anticipation. The list includes Ko Youn-jung, Noh Sang-hyun, Noh Yoon-seo, Park Hyung-sik, Shin Seung-hun, Shin Ye-eun, Shin Hyun-ji, Arden Cho, Ahn Eun-jin, Ahn Hyo-seop, Lee Kwang-soo, Lee Do-hyun, Lee Soo-hyuk, Lee Jun-young, Lee Joon-hyuk, Im Si-wan, Jang Do-yeon, Jeon Yeo-been, Jo Se-ho, Jo Yu-ri, Jo Han-gyeol, Ju Ji-hoon, Cha Joo-young, Choi Dae-hoon, and Hyeri (in alphabetical order). From pioneers who expanded K-content globally to fresh faces in variety shows and K-pop stars, icons representing diverse realms of K-culture are expected to make an appearance.

The performing artist lineup is equally impressive. On November 28th, attendees will include Alphadriveone, BABYMONSTER, BOYNEXTDOOR, Bumjup, ENHYPEN, Heart to Heart, (G)I-DLE, IVE, Miaow, Mirror, NCT WISH, Super Junior, TREASURE, and TWS. The following day, November 29th, will feature performances by aespa, All Day Project, Curtis, G-Dragon, Idit, Izna, J01, Kickflip, Kyoka, RIIZE, Stray Kids, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, and Zero Ebisu One.

Producer Ma Doo-sik also heightened expectations for special stages, hinting, "Besides the performance by Bumjup, Park Bo-gum is scheduled to make a surprise appearance." He added, "A stage themed around K-hip, filled with K-excitement, will unfold."

Notably, a special collaboration between 'Keduhun' and the MAMA Awards was announced, drawing considerable attention. PD Ma stated, "It will be a stage that transcends animation and reality," promising, "We will recreate the epic battle between Lion Boys and Hunt Ricks on stage," fueling further curiosity.

Additionally, a special performance celebrating Super Junior's 20th debut anniversary is planned, and Stray Kids will unveil a stage for their upcoming album track for the first time.
