CLOSE YOUR EYES Ignites Comeback with 'Blackout,' Solidifying 'Super Rookie' Status

Group CLOSE YOUR EYES has announced their comeback, showcasing a more mature image.

The members held a showcase on the afternoon of the 11th at the SBS Public Hall in Deungchon-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul, to discuss their third mini-album ‘Blackout.’

Having debuted in April with their first mini-album 'Eternity,' CLOSE YOUR EYES quickly earned the title of 'Monster Rookie' after securing two music show wins with their debut song 'All Poems and Novels Within Me,' which featured a literary boy concept. In July, they further solidified their global 'Super Rookie' status by achieving three music show wins with the title track of their second mini-album, 'Snowy Summer.'

Speaking about their rapid comeback after just four months, the members shared, "The process of meeting our fans continuously since our debut was so happy that we wanted to come back as soon as possible. We worked hard to prepare and are thrilled to greet you with a new look."

They added, "We received so much love from our fans for our debut and second mini-albums that the desire to make a comeback quickly grew. Your love has been a great motivation, leading us to attempt a major transformation. We ask for your anticipation and interest."

Their new release, ‘Blackout,’ embodies CLOSE YOUR EYES' strong aspirations to break through fear and limitations and sprint endlessly. The album is set to showcase their enhanced growth through genres distinctly different from their previous works.

Jeon Min-wook explained, "We've returned with more intense visuals and performances compared to our previous albums," while Jang Yeo-jun expressed confidence, stating, "We are promoting with a double title track for our third album, following the second. You'll be able to see the mature and sexy side of the evolved literary boys."
