KATSEYE Dominates Spotify, Crowned Most-Streamed Global Girl Group Monthly!

Hybe and Geffen Records' global girl group, KATSEYE, has solidified its immense international popularity by topping the Spotify monthly listeners chart for girl groups worldwide.

According to the latest statistics (October 13 - November 9), KATSEYE garnered an impressive 33,401,675 monthly listeners on Spotify. This figure surpasses the achievements of major K-pop artists during the same period and positions them as the girl group with the largest global listenership.

The only group with comparable streaming numbers is HUNTR/X, the virtual girl group from Netflix's film 'KPOP Demon Hunters.'

Adding to their streaming success, KATSEYE's representative track 'Gabriela' has achieved over 401.8 million streams on Spotify as of November 9th (local time), continuing its explosive growth. This milestone was reached in approximately 143 days since its release on June 20th, placing it among the top-performing songs by girl groups released this year.

With 'Gabriela' crossing the 400 million mark, KATSEYE now boasts two songs with over 400 million streams on Spotify. Prior to this, 'Touch' surpassed 500 million streams on October 28th. Their track 'Gnarly,' released in April, has already surpassed 320 million streams and is rapidly climbing. Debut song 'Debut' and 'Gameboy,' the title track from 'BEAUTIFUL CHAOS,' are also approaching the 200 million mark with over 190 million and 120 million streams, respectively.

The speed at which their streaming numbers are increasing with each release is remarkable. 'Touch' took 80 days to reach 100 million streams, while 'Gnarly' achieved this in 52 days. 'Gabriela' surpassed 100 million streams in a mere 38 days. Furthermore, 'Gabriela' reached 400 million streams in 237 days less time than 'Touch,' clearly indicating a rapidly expanding listener base with every new release.

KATSEYE's rising trajectory was further validated by their nominations for 'Best New Artist' and 'Best Pop Duo/Group Performance' at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards, announced by the Recording Academy on November 8th (Korean time).

Developed with Hybe Chairman Bang Si-hyuk's 'K-pop methodology,' KATSEYE is set to embark on their first solo North American tour, covering 16 shows across 13 cities starting in November, including Minneapolis, Toronto, Boston, New York, Washington D.C., Atlanta, Sugar Land, Irving, Phoenix, San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles, and Mexico City.
