Actress Yeonwoo is reportedly considering a role in the upcoming tvN drama 'Why Doesn't She Know She's a Woman?'.
OSEN reported on the 11th that Yeonwoo recently received a casting offer for the new tvN series. Her agency, 9ato Entertainment, confirmed, "She has received an offer and it's one of the projects she is currently reviewing."
'Why Doesn't She Know She's a Woman?' tells the story of Yoon Yi-joon (played by Im Si-wan), the third-generation heir of a major Korean conglomerate who is implicated in the murder of his secretary, and Kang Jae-hee (played by Seol In-ah), a former special forces officer turned detective known for her exceptional combat skills.
Yeonwoo has been offered the role of Lee Hye-jung, a secretary described as the 'face of Taekang' due to her outstanding beauty and capabilities. However, her character reveals a completely different side after work hours. The drama is expected to generate anticipation with a potential romance between Lee Hye-jung and her colleague, Kim Si-hyun (played by Kim Jung-hyun), a lawyer in the legal team.
Yeonwoo debuted in 2016 as a member of the group Momoland and began her acting career in the 2018 MBC drama 'Tempted'. She has since built her acting experience through various productions, including 'The Golden Spoon', 'Numbers', 'Our House', and 'Bad House'.
