Ahn Seong-hoon Impresses as Special DJ on 'Trot Radio', Navigates Live Glitch with Professionalism
Trot sensation Ahn Seong-hoon has made a successful debut as a special DJ on MBC Radio's 'Son Tae-jin's Trot Radio'.
Ahn took the microphone on December 10th and 11th, filling in for regular host Son Tae-jin who was away on international schedules. On the first day, he expertly navigated the show alongside music critic Jung Min-jae, discussing trot industry news and offering witty gifts in response to listener stories. Notably, during his live performance of the song 'Laugh, Friend' where he also served as a guest performer, Ahn Seong-hoon maintained his composure and continued singing flawlessly even when a headphone cable came loose, showcasing remarkable poise.
The following day, Ahn connected directly with fans who visited the studio, expressing his affection. He surprised everyone with a special performance set to his hit song 'I Love You', prompting enthusiastic cheers from his supporters and creating a warm atmosphere. Additionally, his segment 'AhnTra Salon' with close friend and singer Yoon Soo-hyun garnered significant positive feedback for their sibling-like chemistry.
Concluding his special DJ stint, Ahn Seong-hoon shared, "Although I felt pressure filling in for Tae-jin hyung, I had a heartwarming time thanks to the support from the 'Sonshine' (Son Tae-jin fan club) and 'Hoonie-anie' (Ahn Seong-hoon fan club) fan clubs, as well as all our listeners." He added, "If another opportunity arises, I will rush to be there immediately."
Ahn Seong-hoon is set to hold his first solo concert, 'ANYMATION', on December 13th, promising fans an experience filled with joy and excitement.
