YouTuber KwakTube's Wedding Bliss: Bride's Beauty Stuns Davichi, Ring Mishap Adds to Romance
Content creator KwakTube (real name Kwak Jun-bin) is capturing attention with updates from his newlywed life, from his wedding ceremony to his honeymoon.
The recent wedding ceremony, held on November 11th at a hotel in Yeouido, Seoul, saw broadcaster Jun Hyun-moo as the MC and popular duo Davichi, featuring Lee Hae-ri and Kang Min-kyung, as performers for the celebratory song.
Davichi members were visibly impressed by the bride. Lee Hae-ri joked about KwakTube's appearance, saying, "This is the first time I've seen you look so dapper. You usually dress so casually, but on your wedding day, you look like a completely different person." Kang Min-kyung was equally taken aback by the bride's beauty, exclaiming, "You're so beautiful, I'm speechless. Jun-bin, how did you manage this..." Lee Hae-ri added with a laugh, "She is truly stunning. You really need to treat her well."
The bride, who appeared with a serene smile and an elegant demeanor, garnered comments online calling her KwakTube's "greatest fortune in life."
However, the post-wedding bliss was briefly interrupted by a mishap during the honeymoon. In a YouTube video released on November 6th, KwakTube revealed he had lost his wedding ring.
"My wife has work, so I departed alone first this time," he explained, documenting his journey from Barcelona, Spain, to Paris, France. While leaving Nice in Southern France, he suddenly panicked, exclaiming, "I'm doomed!"
He confessed, "I took off my wedding ring while sleeping and left it at the hotel." His distress grew as he realized, "I'm already on the train to Paris, what should I do?"
His wife, on the other hand, took it in stride over the phone. While questioning why he'd taken it off, she ultimately reassured him with a laugh, "You've already left, what can you do? O-sam (baby's nickname), your dad is like this."
Fortunately, the hotel staff found the ring and arranged to ship it back to Korea, bringing a heartwarming resolution to the incident.
Netizens reacted enthusiastically, with comments such as, "His wife, who isn't angry about the lost ring, is an angel," "I'm even more curious about his wife's face now," "This couple has such great chemistry," and "It's like a real-life romance movie for KwakTube."
The bride's beauty, glimpsed briefly in the wedding video, was particularly highlighted. Fans commented, "It's understandable why Davichi was so amazed," and "Did KwakTube save the nation in his past life?"
KwakTube married his wife, a public servant five years his junior, in October. The wedding, originally scheduled for May next year, was moved up due to a pregnancy. His wife is reportedly in a stable period of her pregnancy. Despite the ring mishap, KwakTube and his wife are showcasing a 'real-life newlywed romance' with their humorous interactions and mutual consideration.
Netizens reacted with amusement and warmth to the wedding ring incident, with comments like "His wife is truly like an angel for not getting angry" and "This is already such a heartwarming real-life romance." The bride's beauty also sparked curiosity, leading to comments such as "KwakTube must have saved the nation in his past life."
