Former ADOR CEO Min Hee-jin appeared as a witness in the damages lawsuit filed by ADOR against advertising production company 'Dolphin Kick' (Dolgo_re Yukoe Dan) concerning the 'director's cut' of NewJeans' 'ETA' music video.

During the hearing at the Seoul Central District Court on the 11th, Min Hee-jin asserted that the posting of the director's cut on Dolphin Kick's channel was not problematic, stating that she was the subject of prior verbal discussions. She emphasized that this practice is customary in the industry and argued that obtaining written consent for every instance of 'One-Source Multi-Use' content modification would be unrealistic.

Min Hee-jin described the additional scenes in the director's cut as a 'shocking ending' that director Shin wanted to include, allowing for multiple interpretations. She also claimed that Apple, the original partner for the MV, only opposed the inclusion of this ending in the main music video, and that posting it on Dolphin Kick's channel was a deliberate choice for 'fun' and 'creative expression'.

She strongly denied allegations of preferential treatment, calling them absurd. Meanwhile, Min Hee-jin received a warning from the judge during her testimony for using overly strong language.

Korean netizens commented, "Min Hee-jin is firm in her claims even in court," "What did the NewJeans members do to deserve this...", and "I support creative activities, but the law must be followed." The reactions show a mix of understanding for her artistic approach and concern for legal adherence.
