MONSTA X Celebrates 10th Anniversary with Generous Donation to Underprivileged Children

K-pop powerhouse MONSTA X is marking their 10th anniversary with a heartwarming act of kindness, making a significant donation in the name of their dedicated fan club, 'MONBEBE'.

Global child rights NGO Good Neighbors announced on the 12th that the group provided a donation to support children facing food insecurity in Korea as the year draws to a close.

Celebrating a decade since their debut, MONSTA X sought to give back the love they've received from their fans by making this contribution under the banner of 'MONBEBE'. The group has been actively engaging with fans globally, from winning the 'Stage of the Year' Daesang at the 2020 Asia Artist Awards (AAA) to being invited to the upcoming '10th Anniversary AAA 2025' ceremony and participating in the '2025 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour', America's largest year-end festival.

The funds donated will be utilized for Good Neighbors' meal support program for children facing hunger. This initiative provides meal kits, side dishes, and groceries to children at risk of food insecurity, especially during school holidays.

MONSTA X has a consistent history of charitable giving, starting in 2020 to support low-income families impacted by COVID-19. In March, they donated 100 million KRW to Good Neighbors for residents and children affected by wildfires in Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk provinces, earning them a place in the 'The Neighbors Honors Club', an exclusive group of high-value donors.

A spokesperson for MONSTA X shared, "The past 10 years have been even more special because we were together with our fans. Just as MONSTA X and MONBEBE empower each other, we hope this act of sharing brings strength to someone in need."

Good Neighbors' Director of External Cooperation, Hyun Dae-joong, expressed his gratitude, stating, "We are deeply thankful for MONSTA X's positive influence in commemorating their meaningful 10th anniversary through this donation. Good Neighbors will do our best to ensure that our underprivileged neighbors can have a warm year-end."

In addition to this charitable act, MONSTA X is set to release their new US digital single 'baby blue' on the 14th at midnight. This marks their first official US single in approximately four years since their second US full album 'THE DREAMING' in December 2021. Following their proven global influence with 'THE DREAMING', which charted on Billboard 200 for two consecutive weeks, MONSTA X is expected to showcase a fresh charm with their upcoming release.
