THE BOYZ's Younghoon, Yang Se Chan, and Kim Dae Ho Transform into 'Student Trio' in Noryangjin, Visit 'Parasite' Pizza Spot
MBC's 'Save Me! Home' (helmed by Jung Da-hee, Nam Yoo-jeong, Heo Ja-yoon, Kim Sung-nyeon) features THE BOYZ member Younghoon, along with Yang Se Chan and Kim Dae Ho, embarking on a property tour in Noryangjin, Seoul.
Broadcast today (13th), the episode commemorates the end of the 2026 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) with a regional inspection in Noryangjin, a district alive with diverse dreams. Younghoon, Yang Se Chan, and Kim Dae Ho will take on the roles of an 'idol trainee,' a 'bar exam candidate,' and a 'high school graduate dreaming of becoming an announcer,' respectively, as they embark on a very special property tour.
The trio heads to a redevelopment zone in Noryangjin. Designated as the Noryangjin New Town district in 2003, the redevelopment is now gaining momentum. They visit Zone 1, where residents still reside among the eight redevelopment areas.
On their way to view a property, they discover the pizza shop featured in the movie 'Parasite.' Not only the interior but also the pizza boxes folded by the main characters' family remain intact. Yang Se Chan remarks, 'This pizza place will disappear too once redeveloped. It's a shame.'
The first property, located a 9-minute walk from Noryangjin Station, boasts a clean white-toned interior within a semi-basement room accessed from the main gate. The tenant reveals a 'space beyond imagination,' astonishing the three.
Meanwhile, Younghoon recognizes the tenant, asking, 'I've seen you on social media... right?', sparking curiosity about their identity.
Next, they move to Heukseok-dong, offering a glimpse into Noryangjin's redevelopment future. Kim Dae Ho explains, 'Before redevelopment, Heukseok-dong was also densely packed with residential housing, similar to Noryangjin. It underwent redevelopment earlier, with tall apartments now in place.'
Younghoon leads the way, introducing a property that was once the residence of a senior first-generation idol. He exclaims, 'This is the former dormitory of a H.O.T. senior!' touching the remaining pillars to receive good energy.
Inside, they are captivated by the Han River view terrace and the stylishly remodeled interior. The inclusion of all appliances and built-in products as standard options further draws their attention.
Netizens are buzzing with anticipation for the broadcast, with comments like 'Can't wait to see Younghoon on Home!', 'Interested in Noryangjin redevelopment, glad they're covering it,' and 'H.O.T.'s former dorm is featured? Definitely tuning in!'
